The Grove At Shrewsbury Getting A Sweetgreen, Hair Salon, Surfer Store

SHREWSBURY, NJ — The Grove at Shrewsbury is getting three new businesses: A gourmet salad company, a hair salon and a store that sells outdoor/post-surfing clothes.

Sweetgreen, a gourmet salad company, will open there sometime in the next few weeks. Sweetgreen sells fresh salads and focuses on vegetarian or vegan vegetable fare. They describe themselves on their company website as "fresh, plant-forward, earth friendly food."

"KALE YEAH! Put your forks together for the awesome, plant-forward goodness that is sweetgreen. The beets drop soon!" posted the Grove.

Also, Madison Reed hair salon is scheduled to open sometime this spring and will be located next to the existing Bluemercury. "Let’s be honest, we’ve gotten off track these last months & have the roots to prove it. Time to tame those tresses with amazing, made-for-you color applied by a pro or for you to take home. A gorgeous color bar opens this Spring next to Bluemercury (where you can get more gorgeous—win win!)

And finally, Jersey Shore-based surfer and outdoor apparel store Faherty will be opening at the Grove sometime in late spring. "Their feel-good favorites might be worn on the West Coast but this company has Jersey Shore roots, and we love that.
