Highlands Man Videotaped Teen in the Shower, Prosecutor Says
He hid his cell phone in the bathroom and secretly recorded the girl, 15, while she showered, police say.
Highlands, NJ - A Highlands man was arrested last week for hiding a cell phone in a bathroom and secretly recording a 15-year-old girl while she undressed and showered, Monmouth County prosecutors said.
According to county prosecutors, on Monday, Aug. 29, Joseph Lynch, 37, of Fourth Street in Highlands photographed, recorded and took video of the teen girl in the bathroom. Lynch had a legal duty to care for the girl at the time.
He was held on a $125,000 bail, cash only with no 10% option, and ordered to have no contact with the victim or her family pending the outcome of trial.
