America Recycles Day, Saturday, November 15th
1pm-4pm • FREE EVENT
Celebrate National “America Recycles Day” with us as we play games and create ‘new’ useful products from what would’ve ended up in our trash. Citizens like us have raised the rate of composting and recycling from 17% in 1990 to around 33% today. Join us in reducing waste while having fun and you’ll have the added bonus of taking America Recycles Day give-aways and your up-cycled treasures home! Appropriate for ages 7 to 107. Please courteously register in advance; 732-842-5966. Meet at the Nature Center. Poricy Park is located at 345 Oak Hill Road, Middletown, NJ

Nature’s Classroom, Mondays at Poricy Park
Children will explore the richness of nature as it prepares for winter throughout Poricy Park!

Our nurturing naturalist will lead children on hikes, captivate them with nature stories, and engage them in fun crafts and activities. This is an ongoing weekly session; you may sign up for multiple weeks or individual weeks that meet your schedule. Class size is limited and program payment is required with signed registration form! Registration required one week in advance.
Monday Afternoons 12 pm-2pm
Fee: Multiple session & sibling discounts available
Members $18 per session; Non-members-$22 per session

Poricy Park 27th Annual Holiday and Craft Shop
The 27th Annual Holiday & Craft Shop at Poricy Park. Shopping runs Friday, 11/28 through Monday, 12/1, 10am till 4pm; Friday, 12/5 through Sunday, 12/7 and Friday, 12/12 through Sunday, 12/14, 11am till 4pm.
Handcrafted items include ornaments, quilts, candles, wood carvings, stockings, jewelry and so much more from members of the Park. Come see new crafts and annual favorites. This is a popular event for the Park and items sell out fast – so be sure to come early! A portion of the proceeds benefit Poricy Park Conservancy and the many community programs at the Park. New crafters are welcome!

Nature Walk, November 28
Walk away from the leftovers and join us for a relaxed nature hike through peaceful Poricy Park trails. We will look around and see what is ‘left over’ from the growing season and discover nature’s seasonal wonders! Our hike will end at our authentic 1770’s Murray Farmhouse where you can receive a guided tour! Then you can visit our Holiday & Craft Gift Shop in the Annex to satisfy your shopping desires too! Photos with Santa
Saturday, November 29th and Sunday, November 30th, 1:00pm-3:00pm.
Park your sleigh and come on in to greet Santa! Take home your photo to remember this special day! Our classroom will also have just the right items and helpers so you can create your own unique craft. Seasonal refreshments available for purchase! Meet at the Nature Center.
Saturday, Nov. 29th & Sunday, Nov. 30th, 1pm-3pm
Fee includes visit with Santa, candy cane for each child, craft for each child & one photo: $8 members; $10 non-members – Note: Families can include additional children for $2 each.
Historic Murray Farmhouse Candlelight Reception
Join us for this traditional favorite on Saturday, December 27th, 3-5pm.
We’ll pour you a cup of warm apple cider while you enjoy the sweet sounds of our minstrel Tony Sloan! The perfect blending of old years and new ones! Appropriate for all ages. (Children must be accompanied & supervised by an adult). Walk-ins welcome, yet registration is highly encouraged! Meet at the historic 1770 Murray Farmhouse. Donations greatly appreciated!
