IMA Urgent Care/Primary Care Thanksgiving Food Drive Going On Now
Now through Nov. 17, IMA again hosts their Thanksgiving food drive for Middletown Helps Its Own, RAINE and Lunch Break:
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Going on now, IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care Centers of the Bayshore region is again hosting their annual Thanksgiving food drive to benefit Middletown Helps Its Own, the RAINE Foundation and Lunch Break.
The food drive will run through November 17.
IMA will be collecting non-perishable Thanksgiving food items such as stuffing, cranberry, boxed cake mixes, canned vegetables and gravy. They are asking the community to donate.

For five years, IMA has hosted their Thanksgiving food drive as an effort to help fight food insecurity in Monmouth County. Each of the charities chosen provide food and other assistance to Monmouth County residents.
“There are so many individuals and families in need that these food donations. A small donation can impact so many local families through these organizations,” said IMA president Dr. Roger Thompson.

Donations of Thanksgiving items such as canned vegetables, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce and boxed cake mixes can be dropped off to any one of IMA’s two Urgent Care locations or nine Primary Care locations.

Middletown Helps Its Own
Since 1964, Middletown Helps Its Own has been aiding Middletown families and is 100 percent-volunteer driven. Middletown Helps Its Own provides food and emergency assistance to Middletown residents. Each year, the organization delivers 600 food baskets to their Middletown neighbors.
RAIN Foundation
Since 2001, RAINE Foundation has positively impacted the Bayshore Community by providing food, clothing, assistance during the holidays, and various other necessities for families in crisis.
Lunch Break
Lunch Break freely provides food, clothing, life skills and fellowship to those in need in Monmouth County and beyond.
