International Skinny Dip Day Is This Saturday At Sandy Hook

HIGHLANDS, NJ — This Saturday, July 8 is International Skinny Dip Day, held every summer around this time at Gunnison Beach on Sandy Hook.

Gunnison Beach is New Jersey's only legal nude beach.

Here is a link to the organizers' website: Gunnison Beach, NJ - Skinny Dip Day The group skinny dip into the Atlantic Ocean will be at 12 noon, with breathwork, sound bowls and a Reiki class before. There will also be body painting, acupressure and something called "ritual readings" offered throughout the day.

The suggested donation is $20 and all the money goes to the Fistula Foundation charity. Last year 200 people attended, and organizers say they expect 2023 to be even bigger.
