June 11, 2014 Middletown Planning Board - Trinity Hall

It has been a couple of weeks since this final meeting where the Planning Board voted to turn down the application of the developer of the Trinity Hall all girls school. The meeting ran about 6.5hrs and it seemed fitting that since the Board recessed for a few minutes, that the meeting be posted in two parts.

Part 1: http://youtu.be/zjuE2Z1AwYs has the public, from both sides of the issue, presenting their views of why the project should proceed or why it should not.

Part 2: http://youtu.be/2dQC68y3-Lk contains the balance of public comments, the final summations from the attorney's and the voting of the Planning Board.

As it is widely known form past press articles, the Planning Board voted to deny the application for the development of the school at the designated location. Trinity School will continue to lease space on publicly owned property at Croydon Hall in Leonardo while they appeal the decision by the Planning Board. The appeal process needs to be expedited unless the NJDEP grants an extension to continue occupying public property.
