Keansburg Amusement Park Cancels Easter Egg Hunt Due to Snow

The first-day-of-spring snowstorm has claimed its first victim.

Keansburg, NJ - The looming first-day-of-spring snowstorm has claimed its first victim. Easter Egg Hunt victim, that is.

Keansburg Amusement Park & Runaway Rapids announced Friday morning it is canceling its annual Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled for this Sunday, March 20 on the beach at the amusement park.

"Due to the impending storm on Sunday, March 20th, Keansburg Amusement Park is cancelling our annual Easter Egg Hunt," park spokeswoman Katie Johnson said in an email. The Easter Egg Hunt has been offered, for free, for years at the Keansburg Amusement Park, and always draws a large crowd of kids and families.
