Keansburg Amusement Park Partially Reopens June 20
Food service, games and go-karts will resume June 20 at Keansburg Amusement Park. Masks will be encouraged, but not required for guests.
KEANSBURG, NJ — More signs that summer 2020 may be somewhat — and slowly — returning to normal.
Starting Saturday, June 20, Keansburg Amusement Park will partially reopen — but rides, arcades and the popular Runaway Rapids water park will still remain closed. Mostly what's opening on June 20 is the food area, games and go-karts.
"A majority of our food, games and go karts will be open June 20, weather permitting," Keansburg Amusement Park announced on Facebook. "This includes the pavilion, Nickerson's, Heidelberg, Georgia's Lemonade, Glenda's Fries, Dippin' Dots, Coastal Ice cream, Barb's Burritos, Pizza V, Girardi's Kebabs and CJ's Spot. (outdoor seating only NO bar seating)."

"Our parking lot, beach, fishing pier and batting cages will be open as well. Rides, waterpark and arcades will not be open until the governor allows it," said the park.
Masks are recommended but not required for guests, said the park. They will be asking people to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Amusement parks, arcades and water parks cannot reopen yet. Gov. Phil Murphy has not set a date for when they can reopen.
Keansburg will not be hosting its popular annual July 4th fireworks this year due to COVID.
