Keansburg Man Killed In Rt. 35 Rollover Crash
A 24-year-old Keansburg man was killed at 5 a.m. Saturday morning on Rt. 35 south in Sayreville:

SAYREVILLE, NJ — A young man from Keansburg was killed in a car crash early Saturday morning on Rt. 35 in Sayreville, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Sayreville Police Chief Daniel Plumacker.
Zion Jackson, 24, of Keansburg, is the man who died.
The fatal crash occurred at 5 a.m. Saturday in the vicinity of Fred’s Bait and Tackle Shop on Rt. 35 south through Sayreville.

Police say a 2009 Acura TL rolled over onto two parked cars. Jackson was the rear passenger of the Acura TL and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Everybody else in the car was seriously injured, but survived: The driver and other passengers of the Acura TL all were hospitalized. There were no occupants in the two parked cars.

Police say the Acura TL was driving southbound on Rt. 35 when it veered off the roadway, striking a safety bollard for a fire hydrant and then rolled over onto the two parked vehicles.
Sayreville Police Officer Thomas Calise and Detective James Alleva of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office are doing the investigation.
