Keyport Woman Injects Heroin Into 15-Year-Old Girl's Arm, Police Say

The woman was responsible for the girl, 15, as well as two other children in the house at the time, ages 1 and 4, police said.

Keyport, NJ - A Keyport woman has been charged with child endangerment after police say she injected heroin into the arm of her 15-year-old sister-in-law.

The incident happened June 10, Keyport police said: Lisa Colilla, 30, was responsible for the girl, 15, as well as two other children in the house at the time, ages 1 and 4. Colilla injected heroin into the teen's arm using a needle, causing the girl to overdose, police said. The teen was rushed to Bayshore Hospital, where she was treated.

Colilla, who lives on Broad Street in Keyport, was arrested that day, and charged with an earlier crime as well; using a stolen credit card to purchase a $100 gift card at the Stop & Shop in Keyport on Sept. 10, police said.
