Kids' And Teens' Summer Programs At The Middletown Public Library
Take the kids to see a performance of "The Little Mermaid" June 20, Nature on the Move July 11 and free coding classes for tweens and teens.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The following are the kids' and teens' summer programs at the Middletown Public Library:
Registration for the summer reading challenge begins June 6! Visit mtpl.org to join a summer reading challenge on MTPL’s Beanstack reading tracker page. Logging begins on June 20!
See the play "The Little Mermaid" (Children’s Summer Reading Kick-off) – June 20 at 4:00 p.m.: Bright Star Theatre performs “The Little Mermaid," an imaginative story about learning to make one’s way in unfamiliar waters.

Oceans of Possibility virtual reality (Teen Summer Reading Kick-off) – June 29 at 2:00 p.m.: Enjoy an under-the-sea virtual reality experience with Oasis VRX!
"Nature on the Move!" with the Monmouth County Parks System – July 11 at 3:00 p.m.: The Monmouth County Parks System's Nature on the Move van will be at the library for a hands-on interactive program.

Virtual Teens Who Code – July 13, 19, 26 & August 2 at 6:00 p.m.: Learn to code this summer with weekly virtual sessions sponsored by ICIMS Girls Who Code.
Art For Sea Recycled Material Craft for Teens– July 13 at 6:00 p.m.: Learn about how recycled plastic and trash can become art with the Art for Sea organization. Display recycled art pieces at the library during the month of August.
Talewise Presents: "Pirates Lost at Sea" – July 21 at 11 a.m.: Set sail with a thrilling, action-packed adventure about a crew of quirky pirates marooned on a desert island while learning about the science behind clouds and more!
No Bones About It! Invertebrates – August 10 at 11:30 a.m.: Learn about the most abundant animals on Earth with this hands-on program, featuring artifacts and live specimens including sea stars, urchins, snails and horseshoe crabs.
