Landscaper Hit, Killed By Car In Middletown Monday
The fatal accident happened at 1:03 p.m. in the area of Middletown-Lincroft Road and Storm Road. No charges have been filed.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A man working as a landscaper was hit and killed by a car Monday afternoon, Dec. 3 in Middletown, police there reported.
The fatal accident happened at 1:03 p.m. in the area of Middletown-Lincroft Road and Storm Road. Police said a driver in the southbound lanes of the roadway hit a man operating a commercial riding mower.
The man driving the lawnmower, whose name is not being released at this time, sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the car stayed on the scene and cdid not sustain any injuries in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation and Middletown police ask that anyone with information about the crash, call Ptl. Michael Reuter of the Middletown Twp. Police Traffic Safety Unit at (732) 615-2046.
