Leaf Collection Begins This Week In Middletown: See Schedule
Place loose leaves at the curb a week before your scheduled collection dates, the township says.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Curbside leaf collection begins this week in Middletown for most zones, for residents to dispose of the autumn leaves from their yards and gardens.
Middletown's Department of Public Works began collecting leaves in zones A through I on Monday. Collection for zones J, K, and L begins Thursday, Dec. 8. Click here if you don't know which zone your home is in.
Several crews will be working in the township at the same time, and individual collection times may vary.

Township officials ask residents to place loose leaves at the curb no more than one week before the start date for collection. Leaves in the gutters, storm drains, sidewalks, and street can make a hazard for children walking to school and other pedestrians.
The township is not collecting brush right now and asks residents not to mix brush, branches, or seed pods with leaves. Grass clippings are not collecting seed pods.
