Lewd Acts by Union Beach Man in Middletown, Police Say

MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Police have arrested a Union Beach man who they say has been driving around Middletown Township, exposing himself to people and then masturbating. Albin F. Wicki, 26, of Union Beach, was arrested Thursday. He would allegedly slowly drive alongside his victims while they were walking, according to a release of his arrest. Wicki would then expose his genitals and masturbate in view of his victims, police said, before driving off.

Two victims have come forward, one of whom is under the age of 18. The incidents happened Wednesday, Nov. 30 and Friday, Dec. 2. Middletown Detective Keith Hirschbein and Detective First Class Daniel Sullivan made the arrest. However, Middletown police think more victims are out there, and they are asking anyone to come forward. No victim will ever be identified by police.

Wicki is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of criminal sexual contact, and two counts of lewdness. He was processed and released after posting bail, which had been set at $60,000 with a ten percent option by Hon. James Berube, JMC.
