Correct Address For New Middletown Lightbridge Academy

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Editor's note: A publicist for Lightbridge originally gave us the wrong address. The correct address for the new Lightbridge Academy Middletown is 1264 Rt. 35 south. Patch regrets the error.

A Lightbridge Academy will open in Middletown in May 2027.

Lightbridge Academy is a daycare center. Lightbridge provides early childhood education for children as young as six weeks old through pre-kindergarten.

They are currently building the new daycare center at 1264 Rt. 35 south in Middletown (1264 NJ-35, Middletown, NJ 07748).

They expect to open in May 2027.

The daycare center has not been built yet. Lightbridge held a groundbreaking Monday. They are building an entirely new building from the ground up and it will be built specifically as an early childhood education center.

Lightbridge Academy calls itself "the solution for working families." They did not provide the cost or hours of their impending new Middletown location, but Lightbridge Academy ranges from $620 to $1,575 per month for childcare, depending on the child's age. Pricing varies by local franchise owner, state they are located in and specific care plans.

Lightbridge Academy is a franchise. At the groundbreaking Monday, the franchisee owners presented a donation to Middletown Helps Its Own.

Says the company:

"This new location hopes to alleviate the difficulties faced by many by accommodating more than 100 families in the area with available childcare spots, along with employment opportunities for local educators."

Currently, there are more than 40 Lightbridge Academy locations throughout New Jersey.

How does Lightbridge choose where to open?

"During site selection, the brand utilizes proprietary technology platforms and advanced analytics to identify communities with strong demand for high-quality early childhood education, ensuring each new center is well-positioned to serve local families," says the company.
