Focus: Local Photographers at MAC
Fifty works from local photographers Laury Egan and Vicki Devico to be exhibited at the Middletown Arts Center gallery
The Middletown Arts Center (MAC) is now focusing on the work of noted area photographers.
Locals Laury Egan and Vicki DeVico are currently exhibiting 50 photos featuring unique architecture and landscape scenes. The show is on view through Feb. 25.

Laury Egan has taught fine arts photography to adult students for more than 25 years and has been an instructor at Brookdale Community College and the Guild of Creative Art, where she is not only an exhibiting member, but served as president of its Board of Directors as well.
Egan's work is in the permanent collections of the Montclair Art Museum, the Metropolitan Opera archives and Princeton University. Her photographs have been exhibited extensively throughout the tri-state area and have been published in books, art journals and on book jackets.

For many years, she worked as a freelance photographer for Lincoln Center venues, the Opera Company of Philadelphia and the McCarter Theatre. Egan has a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design/photography from Carnegie-Mellon University and is listed in Who’s Who in American Art.
Vicki DeVico is a renowned fine arts photographer, master archival printer and Photoshop instructor who holds a Digital Arts Certificate from Brookdale Community College.
Her images have appeared in juried shows at the Belmar Arts Council and the Guild of Creative Art (where she is an exhibiting member), as well as in exhibits at McKay Gallery in Red Bank, the Lighthouse Keeper’s residence on Sandy Hook and area libraries.
Currently, DeVico is president of the Monmouth Camera Club and has received many inter- and intra-club awards. She holds memberships in the Photographic Society of America, National Association of Photoshop Professionals, NJ Federation of Camera Clubs and the Guild of Creative Art.
The MAC’s gallery is open Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday by appointment.
The MAC is located at 36 Church Street, next to the Middletown Train Station.
Free parking is available on site with additional free parking available at the train station’s metered lot on weekday evenings after 6 p.m. and on weekends.
