Longtime Middletown Local News Reporter Gives Talk On April 25

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — At their next meeting at 7 p.m. April 25, the Middletown Historical Society will present an interview with Muriel J. Smith, who will recount her decades-spanning writing career and accomplishments.

Smith will go in depth with some of the most interesting stories she covered as a reporter and editor of Middletown's weekly newspaper, The Courier. The video will be shown at the Middletown Township Public Library, followed by a live question and answer session with Ms. Smith. The public can also watch the premiere at https://youtube.com/@middletownhistory (the question and answer session will not be seen on YouTube).
