Lost Parakeet in Middletown: Please Help

Middletown, NJ - Patch reader Jessie Heckman contacted us to say that, unfortunately, she lost her parakeet on Aug. 5 in the area of Nutswamp Road:

Her name is Iko. She is a blue parakeet with a white head and big black spots on her cheeks. She was lost around Nutswamp Road in Middletown on Aug. 5, 2016. There is a reward offered if she is found! If she's found, she can be captured, but if you're not comfortable you can call me and I can come get her.

She will go onto your finger if you put a finger against her belly. She's friendly and likes people, but she might be scared if she's been outside for a while. Any information, contact Jessie at 732-757-1972. A similar blue parakeet was found in Red Bank on Aug. 2, but Jessie told Patch it is not her parakeet.
