MAST High School Expanding To 2 More Buildings On Sandy Hook
The National Park Service entered an agreement with the Monmouth County vocational school district to rehabilitate two buildings for MAST.

HIGHLANDS, NJ — The National Park Service is entering into an agreement with the Monmouth County vocational school district to rehabilitate two of the historic barracks buildings at Sandy Hook, part of the well-known barracks at Officers' Row.
The buildings will be used by the Marine Academy of Science and Technology’s (MAST) campus, which already has a campus at Sandy Hook located just a few feet away. MAST is a local magnet high school that teens who have an interest in marine science and technology must apply to get into.
The buildings that will be used are 23 and 56. The Monmouth County vocational school will pay for them to be rehabilitated.

Officers' Row and the barracks are a collection of 35 properties at the tip of Sandy Hook. The buildings are a historic collection of Army officers' quarters built in 1895, and used when the U.S. Army's Fort Hancock was in operation at Sandy Hook.
