Meet The Middletown School Board Candidates In Oct. 17 Virtual Forum

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The League of Women Voters will host a virtual candidates' forum for all the candidates running this year for the Middletown Board of Education.

The virtual forum will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 17. This will be a Q&A-style forum held virtually over Zoom and the public must register in advance. Visit bit.ly/middletownboeforum to register in advance.

You can also submit questions to the candidates! Questions must be submitted in advance during the registration process or by email lwvforum2022@gmail.com and putting “Middletown BoE” in the subject line. The questions will be asked by the League of Women Voters.

The candidates running for the Middletown Board of Education in 2022, in the order they appear on the ballot:

• Kristie Tapolow - Fairness Respectful Compassionate
• John Little, current Board member, seeking re-election
• Gary Tulp - Middletown Families First
• Joseph Fitzgerald - Middletown Families First
• Leonora Lacqua-Caminiti - Middletown Families First (current Board member, seeking re-election)
• Lauren Anderson - Elevating Education

All candidates have been invited to participate in the forum but may not all appear. It is not confirmed at this time which candidates have confirmed they will be there.
