Middletown 'Families First' Trio Wins School Board: Unofficial Results
The Middletown Township Committee incumbents win, according to unofficial results.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Board of Education will have two new members, based on unofficial results from the Monmouth County Board of Elections.
Voters had six candidates to choose from and three, three-year terms up for election.

Incumbent board member Leonore E. Lacqua-Caminiti, who was running on the "Middletown Families First" slate, had 11,030 votes, according to the unofficial vote tallies. That put her second behind Joseph Fitzgerald, who was one of her running mates. Fitzgerald had 11.089, under unofficial tallies, and Gary Tulp, the third member of the slate, had 10,806, according to the unofficial tallies.
Kristie Tapolow, running on the "Fairness Respectful Compassionate" slogan, had 9,535 votes; incumbent John Little had 7,534, and Lauren Anderson, running on the "Elevating Education" slogan, had 7,531, according to the unofficial tallies.

In the Middletown Township Committee election, incumbent Republicans Kevin Settembrino and Rick Hibell were re-elected. Hibell had 16,237 and Settembrino had 16,135 votes, according to the unofficial tallies. Democrat Paige Gregorio had 9,555 and Democrat Rocky Rios had 9,291, according to the results.
All of the results are unofficial until certified by the Monmouth County Clerk.
