Middletown BOE Race Virtual Candidates' Forum Next Tuesday Night
The League of Women Voters will hold a virtual Q&A forum for all the school board candidates Oct. 19. You must register in advance:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Next Tuesday, Oct. 19 the League of Women Voters of the Greater Red Bank chapter will hold a virtual candidate forum for all the candidates running for Middletown Board of Education.
This will be a chance for the public to tune in over Zoom and hear from all the candidates running and their views. The virtual forum is actually sponsored by the Nut Swamp Elementary PTA.
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees are asked to register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webina... to get the Zoom link.

These will be a moderate, non-partisan forum and the candidates will be asked the same set of questions. The public can submit questions they would like asked by emailing lwvforum2021@gmail.com and put Middletown Board of Ed. in the subject line. A trained moderator with the League of Women Voters will preside over the forum.
In the order they appear on the ballot, the Candidates are (vote for three):
Joan Minnuies (incumbent currently on the Board, seeking re-election)
Kate Farley - Putting Children First slate
Jaime Sanacore - Putting Children First slate
Deborah Wright - (incumbent currently on the Board, seeking re-election)
(Lauren Anderson - Write-in candidate)
