Middletown Children, Write Letters To Santa And He Will Write Back

If they drop that letter in one of the town's special mailboxes by Dec. 15, they will get an actual personalized letter back from Santa:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Here's a reminder that Middletown children can now start writing their letters to Santa. And if they drop that letter in one of the town's special mailboxes by Dec. 15, they will get an actual personalized letter back from Santa Claus.

Look for the special mailboxes that were put up this past Tuesday at:

  • Croydon Hall - outside the Senior Center
  • Middletown Arts Center
  • Middletown Public Library
  • Tonya Keller Community Center
  • Town Hall - outside the Clerk's Office entrance

Children are encouraged to write their own letters, but here is Middletown's "Letter to Santa" template to give you some ideas of what your child should write about. It is cutest — and good handwriting practice! — when children write their own letter.

Completed letters can be dropped, postage free, in any of the town's special mailboxes no later than Dec. 15. Families should put their letters all in one envelope. If that is not possible, it would be helpful if "Last name, 1 of 2" was written on the envelope. This will allow elves to keep an eye out for all letters from the same family.

Letters are free but please consider making a donation to the Middletown Township Cultural and Arts Council, the non-profit organization that operates the Middletown Arts Center. To donate, please visit the MAC's donation portal, or TEXT your donation to 732-737-6026.

Mailboxes will be removed on December 16.

Also, as a reminder, the Middletown Christmas tree lighting will be 5-7 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Middletown Arts Center (36 Church St, Middletown)
