Group Of Middletown Residents Host Holiday Toy Drive

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A growing group of Middletown residents who run the food pantry Little Things are again holding their holiday toy drive this November/December.

And new this year is that more Middletown businesses are getting involved, by either being a drop-off location or hosting an event.

This November and December, there are drop-off boxes to donate toys at:

• Fly Guys Barbershop, 329 Rt. 35, Red Bank, NJ 07701
• Goldfish Swim School, Middletown 582 Rt. 35, Red Bank, NJ 07701
• Booskerdoo coffee in Middletown 1500 Rt. 35 (next to the Kings Commons ShopRite)
• Roma Pizza, Keansburg, 214 Main St, Keansburg, NJ 07734

If you are looking for things to do with kids this November and December, Little Things is also hosting the following, where you are asked to donate a new, unwrapped toy if you attend:

• Friday, Nov. 10: Elmo Meet and Greet at Trendy Tots Children's Consignment Store, Airport Plaza in Hazlet 1348 NJ-36, Hazlet, NJ 07730 From 12-2 p.m. and 3-6 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 18: Grinch Meet and Greet from 2 - 3:30 p.m. at Legacy Gymnastics in Toms River. Free open gym with any toy donation. 1876 Lakewood Rd, Toms River, NJ 08755
• Saturday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Trendy Tots Children's Consignment (Airport Plaza) Meet the Grinch
• Saturday, Dec. 2 from 4:30-6 p.m. at Fly Guys Barbershop Meet the Grinch

This year, all toys received will be donated to Tackle Kids Cancer at Hackensack Meridian Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital, and CARC (Community Affairs Resource Center) in Asbury Park.
