Middletown December Police Blotter

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Here are the arrests and police activities for the Middletown Twp. Police Department from December 1 through December 31, 2020.

This is released by Middletown Police and unedited by Patch.

During that time period, Middletown Police responded to 3,782 calls for service, including 426 first aid calls, 145 alarm calls and 165 motor vehicle crashes. Police officers arrested 25 individuals, including five for outstanding bench warrants and eight for domestic violence. Arrests are as follows:

Davon Pelzer, age 29, from Neptune, was arrested by Officer Douglas Habermann for a contempt of court warrant and criminal mischief. Pelzer was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Eric Gundersen, age 44, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Frank Mazza for driving under the influence. Gundersen was processed and released.

Jimmy Rodriguez, age 33, from Elizabeth, was arrested by Officer Eric Van Schaack for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence. Rodriguez was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Charles Traina, age 20, from Middletown, was arrested by Detective Keith Hirschbein for criminal mischief. Traina was processed and released on a summons complaint.

James Fleming, age 27, from Port Monmouth, was arrested by Officer Ryan Pigott for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fleming was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Austin Norris, age 33, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Nicholas Zubkow for a contempt of court warrant. Norris was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Colby Bonsangue, age 32, from Monmouth Beach, was arrested by Officer Brady Carr for driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, and failure to possess driver license. Bonsangue was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Nicholas Reines, age 30, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Felipe Caamano for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and unlawful possession of weapons. Reines was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Richard Memoli, Jr., age 41, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Nicholas Manochio for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Memoli was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Peter Pfau, age 56, from Union Beach, was arrested by Officer Elzbieta Banel for driving under the influence. Pfau was processed and released.

Courtney Fabiano, age 25, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Joseph Pesany for driving under the influence. Fabiano was processed and released on a summons complaint.

A person that has been arrested or charged with an offense is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Additionally, except in specific circumstances, arrest and complaint information and names of those charged may be released.
