Middletown First Responder Day At Middletown Sports Complex
On Sunday, Aug. 30 all police, fire, EMS, dispatchers and nurses who live in Middletown are welcome to enjoy the complex for free.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Sports Complex is proud to announce that it will be having a Middletown First Responder Appreciation Pool Day on Sunday, August 30.
This is a chance for all Middletown first responders and their families to come inside, relax and enjoy the facilities, from noon to 8 p.m.
Admission is FREE to all Middletown First Responders and their families. First responders will need to show their badge/ID card for the free admission. Examples of first responders include police, fire, EMS, dispatchers and nurses.

The complex wants to do this to thank Middletown residents who are first responders for Middletown.
“During these uncertain times, our first responders have gone above and beyond their call of duty,” said Middletown Sports Complex’s president Jimmy Solovey. “With summer winding down, we wanted to simply recognize them and say 'thank you' for all of their hard work."

The Middletown Sports Complex on Harmony Road is a sports, recreation and special events haven. The 20-acre facility has two ice skating rinks, three swimming pools and an outdoor field. The complex offers ice hockey, learn to play, learn to skate, public
skating, and adult leagues.
The complex also offers special events such as Goat Yoga, Paws in the Pool, Movies in the Woods, Murder Mysteries and more. Pool, birthday, laser tag, pizza and milestone parties are offered. The three-pool Swim Club offers private and competitive swim lessons, special events and more.
The Middletown Sports Complex also includes Sports Performance Lab, a cutting-edge testing, performance training, recovery, and sports rehabilitation facility dedicated to reducing the risk of injuries and maximizing potential in athletes.
