Middletown Hosts These Family Winter Hikes

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Looking for a way to get out of the house and out in nature as winter — and the pandemic — drag on?

Middletown Township is hosting a series of outdoor nature hikes this January, February and March. All of these hikes are led by an experienced nature guide and are open to families, including children.

Guided hike: Owls Wednesday, January 27 (Also offered on Thursday, Jan. 28 same time and place)

Get out and stretch your legs! Great for all ages. Each week a new topic will be discussed along the trails at Poricy Park. This week we will look for owls and examine owl pellets. Pre-registration is recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome if space permits (no cash accepted). All children must be accompanied by an adult. Rain or shine, dress for the weather.
