Middletown Insurance Broker Re-Elected As Regional Vice President
David Mordo, an insurance broker based in Middletown, was re-elected vice president of the National Association of Health Underwriters.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Earlier this July, David Mordo, an insurance broker based in Middletown, was re-elected vice president of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) Region 2, overseeing chapters in Delaware, DC, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Mordo has more than four decades in the insurance industry. He is currently a senior compliance analyst with BenefitMall and director of the BenefitMall School of Insurance, where he teaches continuing education courses to brokers from all over the country.
"I have been impressed with David's tenure as regional vice president," said Janet Trautwein, CEO of NAHU. "I have no doubt he will continue his steadfast leadership in Region 2, where he has worked hard to improve the health insurance industry."

Mordo has been an active NAHU member since 1999 and has served as vice president of Region 2 since July 2020. On the national stage, he has been a member of NAHU's Finance, Governance, Leading Producers Round Table and Media Relations Committees. He was NAHU's National Legislative Chair from 2016-17.
"As vice president of Region 2, I’m fortunate to work with my colleagues as we strive to make health insurance and healthcare more affordable and accessible," Mordo said. "I’m gratified to have been re-elected to this position and look forward to continuing our work."
