Middletown Library's July Summer Reading Programs For Kids And Teens

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Summer reading fun continues in July with more great programs at the Middletown Township Public Library.

Here's everything planned for the month of July:

Registration for Summer Reading Challenge is open: Visit mtpl.org to join a summer reading challenge for children or teens on MTPL’s Beanstack reading tracker page.

Scales & Trails Live Animal Program for ages 3 to 5 – July 6 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.: Naturalists from Monmouth County Park System will share info about life cycles, habitats and habits of several live animal specimens.

Movie Night for Teens – June 12 at 6 p.m.: Teens are invited to enjoy snacks and watch "Little Women." Please be aware of food allergies.

Queen Nur presents Story SELebration – July 17 at 6:30: Join audience favorite storyteller Queen Nur in an interactive storytelling celebration that engages the social emotional learning competencies.

All Together Now with Magic Jim – June 18 at 11am: In a fun magic show for the whole family, Magic Jim will combine magic, puppetry and audience participation. Registration is required.

Decorate Beach Bags (July 18) and Friendship Bracelets (July 26) for Teens – 2:30pm: Participate in two fun crafts in the Teen Room in July. Please register teens at mtpl.org.

Dinoman Paleontologist Bob Lisaius and his dinosaurs – July 24 at 6:30pm: Aided by a little magic and some amazing props, Dinoman will bring the audience on a fun journey through the Mesozoic era at this all ages program.

All Together Now with Rhonda Appleseed – July 31 at 11am: Enjoy a summer reading themed performance from Traveling Lantern Theater. For all ages.

Summer Storytime – Every Friday at 10 a.m. for the month of July: Open to all ages but best for Pre-K to 8-year-olds!
