Middletown Lions Club Hosts ‘From Italy With Love’ Fundraising Dinner To Benefit The Blind
Proceeds Benefit New Jersey Blind Citizens Association/Camp Happiness

The Middletown Lions Club will host ‘From Italy With Love,’ a fundraising dinner to benefit the New Jersey Blind Citizens Association/Camp Happiness in Leonardo, NJ, an organization which has been serving and advocating for the blind for over 100 years. The dinner will be held on Friday evening, May 2, from 6.30-8.30 p.m. The location is Fellowship Hall at the Middletown Reformed Church, 121 Kings Highway, Middletown, NJ, 07748.

The BYOB dinner will feature a delicious homemade Italian buffet with a menu of assorted pasta dishes including baked ziti, several types of lasagna, stuffed shells, sausage & peppers, meatballs, salads, bread and an array of desserts. There will be musical entertainment and art exhibits by local artists as well as local blind citizens. This is a fun and festive event, perfect for family fun! Members also volunteer directly at the Bayshore Lunch Program in Keyport, N.J., support local food pantries and emergency feeding locations like The Calico Cat, assist homeless advocacy organizations like Destiny’s Bridge, engage with and donate to charitable organizations which align with Lions guiding principles, and raise awareness of important social concerns in the area.
