Middletown Little League To Start Travel Baseball Club

Middletown Little League (MLL) will be on the road for their Spring 2013 season.

All participants of  MLL will be able to try out for the Middletown Travel Baseball Club (MTBC) and tryouts will be on a continuing basis now until end of Fall.   

Teams will compete in Spring and Fall leagues and some local tournaments. 

Participants are required to attend winter workouts from January to April. 

Participation in MLL practices and games will take precedent over MTBC schedule. 

The mission of the MTBC is to provide players with higher skill levels and greater commitment to baseball the opportunity to compete against youths from other communities with similar skill levels, according to a release.

AGE DIVISIONS

There will be teams in the 8u, 9u and 10u age divisions.  If there is enough interest, teams will be formed for 11u and 12u. Depending on the amount of interested players,  multiple teams may be formed in any of the divisions. 

Age eligibility for Spring 2013:

8u – Born after 4/30/2004

9u - Born after 4/30/2003

10u - Born after 4/30/2002

11u - Born after 4/30/2001

12u - Born after 4/30/2000
