Middletown Offers Free Tutoring For Income-Eligible Kids This Fall

This fall, Middletown Township will again be offering free tutoring services to students from income-eligible households:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — This fall, Middletown Township will again be offering free tutoring services to students from income-eligible households who fell behind academically due to the pandemic.

Tutoring will take place on Saturdays from September 30 through November 18 at the Middletown Township Public Library (55 New Monmouth Road). Tutoring will not be held on Saturday, November 4 or Saturday, November 11.

This is called Middletown's Next Generation Support Program, and the free tutoring was also offered this summer.

Residents should apply by Friday, Aug. 25.

Middletown Twp. can only use this grant money toward this specific purpose, which is why it is for income-eligible families only. The program will be funded through a special allocation of CARES Act funding the Township received.
