Middletown Police Blotter, Aug. 4 - Aug. 17

Police officers arrested 30 individuals, including 8 for outstanding bench warrants and 3 for domestic violence. Arrests are as follows:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Released by Middletown Twp. police, all the arrests for that time period:

During the period of August 4, 2019 through August 17, 2019, the Middletown Twp. Police
Department responded to 1,476 calls for service, including 162 first aid calls, 126 burglar alarms,
32 fire alarms and 68 motor vehicle crashes.

James Jelinski, age 51, from Keansburg, was arrested by Officer Shane Hall for a contempt of
court warrant, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. Jelinski was processed and lodged
at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Scott Wernoch, age 54, from Elizabeth, was arrested by Officer Ryan Pigott for possession of a
controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. Wernoch was processed and released on
a summons complaint.

Joshua Washington, age 27, from Trenton, was arrested by Officer Michael Heaton for contempt
of court warrants. Washington was processed and released after posting bail.

Anthony Alessi, age 70, from Long Branch, was arrested by Officer Ryan Riffert for driving
under the influence. Alessi was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Frederick Best, age 33, from Seaside Park, was arrested by Detective Daniel Sullivan for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, distribution in a school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy. Best was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Giovanni Pisaniello, age 32, from Middletown, was arrested by Detective Keith Hirschbein for
possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, distribution in a school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy. Pisaniello was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Ryan Dunn, age 38, from Keyport, was arrested by Officer Frank Mazza for driving under the
influence. Dunn was processed and released on a summons complaint.

James Farkas, age 43, from Ocean Grove, was arrested by Officer Nicholas Manochio for a contempt of court warrant. Farkas was processed and released after posting bail.

Brian Trivett, age 33, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Frank Mazza for driving under
the influence. Trivett was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Stephanie Hoffman, age 23, from Highlands, was arrested by Officer Savvas Roumeliotis for
driving under the influence. Hoffman was processed and released on a summons complaint.

John Faccas, age 25, from Hazlet, was arrested by Officer Joseph Pesany for a contempt of court warrant. Faccas was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Jesus Diaz-Gonzalez, age 32, from Brooklyn, NY, was arrested by Officer Donald Porter for a contempt of court warrant. Diaz-Gonzalez was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Dylan Gowan, age 23, from Highlands, was arrested by Officer Sean Barry for driving under the
influence. Gowan was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Pierre Gadson, age 39, from Red Bank, was arrested by Officer Raymond Sofield for a contempt of court warrant. Gadson was processed and released after posting bail.

Glenn Mckenzie, age 38, from Matawan, was arrested by Officer Savvas Roumeliotis for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and drug paraphernalia. Mckenzie was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Ronald Remp, age 39, from Keansburg, was arrested by Officer Ryan Pigott for contempt of court warrants. Remp was processed and released to the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Department.

Anna Taylor, age 49, from Keansburg, was arrested by Officer Joseph Pesany for contempt of
court warrants. Pesany was processed and released on her own recognizance.

A person that has been arrested or charged with an offense is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Additionally, except in specific circumstances, arrest and complaint information and names of those charged may be released.
