Middletown Recognizes Arts Center Director For Educational Work
The director of the Middletown Arts Center was recognized by township officials for winning a Monmouth County Education Association Award.

The director of the Middletown Arts Center was recognized by township officials for winning the 2015 Monmouth County Education Association Award.
Maggie O’Brien received the award “which recognizes dedication towards the region’s public schools and champions of educational enrichment,’’ according to a township news release.
At a recent township committee meeting, she was recognized for the work that led to that award.

Last year, about 60,000 people visited the center, and O’Brien organized “more than 60 partnerships with Monmouth County businesses and organizations to nourish the offerings available at the MAC,’’ the news release said.
