Middletown Schools Have Delayed Start Monday
The nearly foot of snow Middletown received in Saturday's nor'easter blizzard delayed the start of school Monday morning.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The nearly foot of snow Middletown received in Saturday's nor'easter blizzard delayed the start of school Monday morning, announced the district.
"Please be advised that on Monday January 31, all Middletown Township Public Schools will follow the delayed opening schedule. Please check the School Time Schedule for your student's start time. Please be aware that there is no YMCA Before Care Program tomorrow," wrote the Middletown school district Sunday night.
Monmouth County towns on the coast and south got the most snow: Middletown got 11 inches, but Tinton Falls and Eatontown recorded 14 inches. Spring Lake Heights got 17 inches, all according to the National Weather Service.

Forked River had 17 inches. Just outside Toms River, Beachwood logged 19 inches and Bayville had 21 inches.
Atlantic City International Airport recorded 16 inches of snow. Little Egg Harbor got 19 inches.
