Middletown Will Make Up PARCC Test Friday for High School Students

New dates for middle school PARCC testing are now April 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, and 29, school district announces.

Middletown, NJ - In light of Pearson's system-wide crash that occurred Wednesday morning in the PARCC test, Middletown schools superintendent Bill George sent the following message to Middletown public school parents Wednesday:

April 20, 2016

Dear parents,

Find out what's happening in Middletownfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

The Pearson test site (PARCC) was unavailable statewide today. Therefore, PARCC testing originally scheduled for this morning, April 20th, at our high schools (Math - Day 3) and middle schools (English Language Arts - Day 1) has been postponed. To date, we have successfully completed all three high school ELA units as well as two of the three math units.

Our schools followed the regular schedule today, as the decision to postpone testing was made prior to the start of the test window. We anticipate resuming testing tomorrow at both high schools and all three middle schools.

  • Bayshore, Thompson and Thorne Middle Schools will administer PARCC on April 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, and 29, 2016.
