Middletown's Rick Lovato Jr. Signs with Green Bay Packers

Middletown, NJ - From the Bayshore to Green Bay.

Rick Lovato Jr., long a standout in the Middletown football scene, has signed to play with the Green Bay Packers, the Asbury Park Press reports. He will serve as the Packers’ long-snapper. Watch him this Sunday when the Packers play the Arizona Cardinals. Lovato is No. 59.

Lovato played for Middletown South and then went on to become an FCS All-American long-snapper at Old Dominion. He is the son of Rick and Maureen Lovato, and has two sisters, Michelle and Jacqueline.
