Monmouth County Commissioner Candidate Eduardo Castillo Stands with Save Middletown Schools

I stand with the parents, students, community members, and organizers of Middletown who are protesting the Republican school board's decision to close down three schools, while refusing to listen, answer questions, and work with the community on finding an alternative that works for students, parents, teachers, and the Township as a whole. Meanwhile, Republican Mayor Tony Perry is more focused on running for the Monmouth County Commission than he is about doing his job as Mayor to get involved, as the community has repeatedly asked him to, and attempt to use his influence as Mayor to potentially persuade the school board to make a different decision that actually involves the community as part of the decision making.
