The Monmouth County Government, and their hatred for differences of opinion, and free speech
Monmouth County Commissioner Candidate Eduardo Castillo dissects how the current Government in Monmouth County hates free speech.
A few days ago the Monmouth County Republican party called voters in Monmouth County, and New Jersey as a whole "useful idiots" for voting for Cory Booker. This year Monmouth County Republican Chairman, and elected Sheriff, Shaun Golden blocked a woman on Facebook from his official account simply for disagreeing with his policies. In last year's election, Shaun Golden advised the entire Monmouth County Republican government to avoid the only debates that are held in Monmouth County.
And just two years ago, Commissioner Ross Licitra, who's thankfully retiring from the board of commissioners, called a worker a "nobody" and berated him for disagreeing with his organization's decision to euthanize a dog, Licitra also threatened to cut the throats of workers that he perceives as rude. This is not a County party, or Government that cares about its citizens, and tolerates their differences of opinion.
I wish everything I told you was an elaborate April fools joke, but it isn't. This is what we residents of Monmouth County have to deal with every single day when it comes to our inefficient, insufficient, and intolerable pathetic excuse of a County Government. We need to change that, and that starts by voting in New leadership this November.
