Monmouth County Mother-Daughter Pair Charged with Prostitution in Florida

OCEAN GROVE, NJ - A mother-daughter pair originally from Monmouth County were arrested in Florida for allegedly working in tandem as prostitutes. Tanja Gammon, 57, and her daughter, Darcel Gammon, 31, were both arrested Feb. 7 at a Motel 6 in Kissimmee, Florida. They are originally from Ocean Grove, NJ.com reported.

The mom advertised her services on backpage.com, according to a criminal complaint from the Osceola County Sheriff's Dept. obtained by thesmokinggun.com. The mom described herself as a "sexy MILF ... who hates the taste of Latex," and charged an undercover sheriff's office $100 for 30 minutes with her, police said. Gammon met the undercover officer in a Motel 6 wearing lingerie and tried to initiate sex, he said. When he arrested her, Gammon started screaming, "I didn't take the money yet, I didn't take the money yet! So it really doesn't matter!" according to the criminal complaint.

The sheriff's officer then found her daughter, Darcel Gamman, hiding in the bathroom of the motel room, also wearing lingerie and listening to the encounter, police said. She was there to serve as a lookout for her mother, the officer said. They were both arrested and charged with prostitution.
