Tinton Falls Rite Aid Will Close Oct. 31

TINTON FALLS, NJ — On Sunday, Rite Aid Corporation filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

As part of their filing, Rite Aid announced they plan to close 154 pharmacy locations across the U.S. — including 12 in New Jersey.

And one of those locations is the Rite Aid at 4057 Asbury Avenue in Tinton Falls. An employee at the store said it will close Oct. 31.

All customer prescriptions will be transferred to nearby pharmacies. Here is the bankruptcy filing Rite Aid submitted that lists all 154 stores they are closing nationwide; see document 121 of those bankruptcy filings.
