Monmouth County Soaked With Over 2 Inches Of Rain

Did your town see any flooding?

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ-- Parts of Monmouth County saw over two inches of rain this morning, according to the National Weather service. By 11:45 AM, Fair Haven measured a whopping 2.2 inches of rain. Colts Neck measured a solid 1.2 inches of rain.

While it might be sunny for now, don't put away those rain boots and umbrellas just yet: there could be more rain coming tonight.

"We do expect additional rainfall of up to around 1 inch into this evening southeast of the I-95 corridor. Remember, if you come to a flooded roadway, turn around don't drown," the NWS said in a statement.
