Monmouth's Quintessential Fall Festival Oct. 17 In Thompson Park

LINCROFT, NJ — Hey Monmouth County families, celebrate the start of the fall season on Thompson Park Day!
Held this year from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 17 at Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, Thompson Park Day is the quintessential fall festival. Activities include canoeing on Marlu Lake (weather permitting), kids’ races, archery, pumpkin painting, wagon rides and so much more.
Highlights of the day include a Scarecrow Contest and Spooktacular Jack O’Lantern Contest. Details for these contests are available online at www.MonmouthCountyParks.com.

Some activities require a fee. Admission and parking are free.
The festival also offers numerous volunteering opportunities for those ages 14 and older. Those interested should contact Park System Coordinator of Volunteers Tracy Shiffman at tracy.shiffman@co.monmouth.nj.us.
