More than 100 Golfers Play for a Cause at CPC Behavioral Healthcare's Spring Invitational
CPC's 2016 Spring Invitational golf outing welcomed more than 100 golfers to the Navesink Country Club in Middletown, NJ, Monday, June 6th.
It was a picture-perfect day on Monday, June 6th, for the more than 100 golfers who spent the day at the gorgeous Navesink Country Club in Middletown, NJ and played 18 holes in support of CPC Behavioral Healthcare. The annual tournament is one of CPC’s signature fundraising events and raises critical funds that support children and families who need financial help to access CPC’s treatment and services.
New co-chairs, Scott Hershkowitz and Tom Mikulski are pleased to report that the tournament raised more than $50,000. New this year, an After-Party for golfers and non-golfers alike delivered great food, lots of fun and serious networking.
CPC’s Spring Invitational is a favorite charity tournament for avid golfers and serious newcomers. Competition among the participants is good-natured, but serious. Winners this year were: Highest Gross – Rick McCoy, Keith Gilman, Peter Henderson and George Khlari; Highest Net – Don Pignataro, Bob Honecker, Rich Mulvey and Greg Steinhauser; Closest to the Pin was Mike Warshauer and Longest Drive was claimed by Keith Richardson for the men and Sue Murphy for the women. This year’s contests included a ‘Pot of Gold’ and the Hole-in-One, Subaru Forrester, courtesy of World Subaru.

CPC Behavioral Healthcare, founded in 1960, provides mental and behavioral healthcare and special education services to over 8,000 people each year. The Agency’s mission is to serve our communities by delivering evidence-based services in mental health, substance abuse, special education and physical health through an integrated system of care designed to promote wellness, recovery and productive lives. In addition to three counseling centers located throughout the County, CPC’s High Point School welcomes more than 200 special education students each year.

Navesink Country Club is a four season, family oriented private New Jersey country club located on the banks of the Navesink River in central Monmouth County near Red Bank, Rumson and Colts Neck. The club offers a bounty of amenities, including a challenging and scenic, private golf course with a state of the art driving range and practice facility.
