MTRS Announces new Tuition Structure for 2014 - 2015 School Year

In order to attract more families to Mother Teresa Regional School the school board has announced that the tuition for Catholic and non-Catholic families would be the same next year.  Prior to the 2014-15 school year, non-Catholic families were charged an additional fee to enroll their children at MTRS.  “This just didn’t seem like the Catholic thing to do”, said Thomas Sorci, principal.  “Given the emphasis on Social Justice which we instill in our students, it did not seem fair to have a disparity in tuition for families who are not Catholic.  We welcome everyone at our school.”

Mother Teresa is the Diocesan Regional  School for St. Agnes, Our Lady of Perpetual  Help,  Holy Family, St. Ann’s and St. Catherine’s.   “In addition to targeting non-Catholic families, we are trying to attract more students from other parishes such as Jesus the Lord in Keansburg and St. Anthony in Red Bank”,  said Sorci.  Mother Teresa Regional School currently enrolls 160 students in grades Pre-K3 through 8.  The school is accredited by  AdvancED. For more information visit the school website at www.mtregional.com or call the school at 732-291-1050 to arrange a tour.
