Singer/composer John "Giovanni" Padovano, aka The Coffeehouse Performer, has released a new album of all original music and songs titled " The Balladeer Of Wandering Square -performances archive volume one ". This CD will also be available at his live performances and at other outlets to be announced. Padovano is also known as The Ironbound Crooner. His music is strongly influenced by his very early years in the Ironbound Section, a neighborhood in Newark, NJ. A book, written by Reed Ueda Ph. D, titled "America's Changing Neighborhoods - An Exploration of Diversity through Places" includes The Ironbound as one of its neighborhoods, and the book mentions the singer-songwriter John Padovano as part of the "popular culture" that came from The Ironbound. He has performed concerts at the Van Buren Branch Library that is located in The Ironbound. His live show is based on a solo repertoire of his original music that he calls "poesia and chanson". "This collection of songs and instrumentals captures what my live shows are about," the musician said, "I perform to share peace and comfort." In the 1970's, along the Jersey Shore, he started performing his songs at live music venues. Although "The Coffeehouse Performer" appears mostly at coffeehouses, he has performed at many libraries, and at Arts Centers, wineries, cafes, and he has performed solo shows at Princeton University. johnpadovano.weebly.com https://officialjohnpadovano.com
