Nov. 19 Speaker Event From Middletown Historical Society
All should attend at 7 p.m. at the Poricy Park Nature Center to hear about the Lenape of the Navesink, Middletown's original inhabitants.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Claire Garland, Director of the Sand Hill Indian Historical Association, will deliver a presentation on the first inhabitants of the Middletown, NJ area, the Lenape Native Americans.
Garland has studied the Native American origins of our area for decades. Her widespread knowledge of Native American history has been shared a number of times with the Middletown Township Historical Society, of which she is a member.
The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19 at the Poricy Park Nature Center at 345 Oak Hill Road in Middletown (Red Bank mailing address). All are welcome.
