Oak Hill Academy Again Takes Home Trophies at Mathleague Competition

Congratulations to the OHA 4-6th grade students who competed in a regional Mathleague Competition at Stuart Country Day School in Princeton.

Congratulations to the OHA 4-6th grade students who competed in a regional Mathleague Competition at Stuart Country Day School in Princeton on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Oak Hill Academy was the second place school among the ten that participated! The team of Thibaut Fabricant (Red Bank), Michael Gao (Holmdel), Robert Schweikert (Atlantic Highlands), and Audrey Yan (Holmdel) came in 2nd place. In the fifth grade, Mitchell Oldham (Middletown) won the 4th place individual trophy and Karan Patnaik (Holmdel)came in 7th place. In the sixth grade, Michael Gao won the 2nd place individual trophy, Thibaut Fabricant was 7th, and Robert Schweikert was 10th. Eight Oak Hill students advanced to the Mathleague state competition in the spring. They are Mitchell Oldham, Karan Patnaik, Isabelle Darman (Freehold), Thibaut Fabricant, Michael Gao, Cadence Li (Morganville), Robert Schweikert, and Audrey Yan (Holmdel). Rounding out the strong Oak Hill team were Max Dantoi (Atlantic Highlands), Nick Lane (Middletown), Andrew Lin (Farmingdale), Keegan O’Conner (Lincroft), Luke DeAngelis (Holmdel), Nico Fabricant (Red Bank), Daniel Fiskin (Morganville), Raina Bhattacharyya (Marlboro), and Catherine Zhang (Marlboro). Approximately 115 students from all over New Jersey competed in this regional round. Go OHA!
