Obituary: Dolly Dolahan, 84 of New Monmouth
Worked at Sears for 35 years, and was an active member of St. Mary's Church.

Dolly Dolahan, 84, of New Monmouth died on May 7, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Newark at St. Michael's and grew up in Harrison. Dolly attended Holy Cross Grammar School in Harrison and St. Cecilia's in North Arlington.
After she graduated from St. Cecilia's, Dolly went to work for Hane's in Newark as a model.

In 1953 Dolly moved to Middletown and became an active member of St. Mary's Church. Helen worked at Sears for over 35 years. She enjoyed playing bridge and loved her cats, most recently her Blue Persian, "Mugsy".
Surviving are her children, Edward, Dana, Timothy, and Carol; and her grandchildren, Daniel and Meghan.
Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dolaghan Sr.
Visitation was held on Thursday, at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home. Funeral services were Friday, and a Funeral Liturgy was offered Friday, May 10 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Chapel. Entombment followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, Dolly's family has asked that contributions be made to the Rainbow Foundation, 15 Cherry Tree Farm Rd., Middletown, NJ 07748.
