Obituary: James Dolan, 77, of Middletown

James W. Dolan, 77, of Middletown, passed away, Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Born in Jersey City, James has lived in Middletown for the past 40 years. He served his country in the Army. He was a foreman for the Port Authority Railroad in New York City. James loved fishing and hunting. He was a loving husband for 55 years, and an all around great man. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

James was predeceased by his parents, James R. and Mable Dolan. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie-Luise Dolan of Middletown; a daughter, Eva Marie Amato and her husband Donald of Kearneysville, WV; a goddaughter, Mai-Lai Wilhelm and her husband Ryan of Addison, NY; 4 grandchildren, George Heyer and his wife Jennifer of Williamstown,NJ; Jessica Selzer and her husband Wayne of Hedgesville, WV;  Brandon Amato, and Kyle Amato, both of Kearneysville, WV; and 8 great grandchildren, Savana, Nathaniel, Emily, and Levi Selzer, Jason, Taylor and Ryan Heyer, and Logan Amato.

 At the direction of the family, cremation will be private.  A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, September 28, 2013, 10AM at the Christ Episcopal Church, 90 Kings Hwy., Middletown, NJ  07748.  Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735 was entrusted with the cremation.
